Safety is a top priority in spirit communication.
No spirit entity can break your free will. Beings from the spirit world cannot interfere with whatever we choose to do on our physical plane.
Therefore, communication with spirit guides can only happen if you consciously allow it and with whom you permit it.
You are in complete control at any time during a spirit communication session. All spirit entities can only speak to you with your permission. If you wish to end the communication, you can do so anytime.
Ask for a high-level spirit guide, and one will be there. Don’t invoke a particular guide or deity in the beginning. Let the spirit world send you the guide you need most right now.
These are the two most important steps for ensuring your safety in spirit communication:
- When you wish to connect, always ask for a Divine spirit guide from light and love in the causal plane. Be firm and clear, and say that out loud.
- When preparing for a spirit communication session, visualize a bright white or golden light surrounding your entire body and filling up your energy field.

How to Recognize High-Level Spirit Guides
Connecting with a high-level spirit guide always feels warm, comfortable, loving, uplifting, inspiring, and wonderful.
These guides come to shine a light on your path. Their only wish is for your higher good. They’ll never frighten you nor build up your ego.
High-level guides express themselves precisely and say a lot in a few words or images. They speak only in good terms about the people and situations in your life because they are full of love.
They want us to use our discernment rather than mindlessly follow what we’re told. They’ll never impose on you that you must do something specific.
They’ll never attempt to influence your life choices or free will. High-level guides help you gain greater confidence in your own truth.
How to Recognize Entities Who Are Less Evolved
If you follow my ten-step method, connections with less-evolved spirit entities will not happen.
But you should know how to recognize and deal with such beings in case one of them ever tries to connect with you.
You’ll immediately know and feel that something is wrong if you connect with such a lower-level spiritual entity. Communication with these beings does not feel good.
They may seem heavy and stir up confusing or negative emotions. You’ll recognize their fear, pain, uncertainty, or lack of peace. You may feel worried, anxious, scared, or powerless when in contact with them.
Spirit entities will not deceive you if you ask them who they are and where they are from. Ask them to show you their true nature if you’re not sure what kind of entity you are connected to.
As you communicate more often with your family of high-level spirit guides, you’ll know exactly how each of them feels. It’ll become impossible for another being to fool you.
What to Do If You’re in Contact With a Less-Evolved Entity
If any less-evolved entity ever tries to connect with you and you feel discomfort, immediately tell them “no.”
Stay calm. Ask the entity to leave and tell it to go to the light. Say that out loud and end the communication.
Be firm and sever the link. You can visualize cutting all energy chords between you and that entity.
Come back to the present moment and open your eyes. Take a few deep breaths and drink a glass of water. Then, ground yourself again. Don’t attempt another connection immediately.
If you feel that the same less-evolved entity repeatedly tries to connect with you against your will, ask Archangel Michael for help and protection.
Consciously request Michael at the beginning of every meditation or spirit communication session to wrap his purple light cocoon of protection around you. You can also ask him to use his sword to cut any ties between that entity and you.
Depending on your religion and belief system, you may ask a deity like Shiva or Buddha for help and protection instead of Archangel Michael.
